The CDF software for Unix, Linux,
VMS, Windows, and Mac OS X is now available for
CDF V3.4.1.
This version supports interfaces for C, Fortran, Java, C#, Perl, and IDL and
MATLAB packages. Please check back later to see if there are any updates for
this release.
Changes implemented in CDF V3.4.0 and this minor version include the following:
Add a pair of new data types: CDF_INT8, 8-byte signed integer and
CDF_TIME_TT2000, also 8-byte signed integer. CDF_TIME_TT2000 is a new
CDF epoch type, which is nanoseconds since J2000
(2000-01-01T12:00:00.000000000) with leap seconds included.
The leap seconds referenced by the CDF library are based on
this table.
A few new functions, similar to those handling CDF_EPOCH data type,
for CDF_TIME_TT2000 for all language interfaces, i.e., C. Fortran,
Java and others, were added.
Tool programs are enhanced.
Bugs fixed in the core library and tool programs.
The complete list of changes for this and earlier versions can be
found in the Release Change Note .
